Valentina is also the recipient of a Travel Award from the MOSS conference, which enabled her to attend this year’s meeting. She is finishing her Ph.D. in the University of Uruguay, and will soon be looking for a post-doc position either in Europe or the United States. She would like to continue working on Physcomitrella. Her current project is on stress tolerance, which she does under the mentorship of Prof. Björn Welin.
